Holidays at the Holmes House...

We had a very busy...merry...crazy...memorable holiday season here at the Holmes house! So, I concocted a slide show including most of our Christmas fun (see below). It started with Reagan's Festival performance at St. Viator. Wow, let me tell you how wonderful it is to have a school performance that is truly focused on Christmas and not on offending everyone else for celebrating it! All of the grades wowed us with their songs. The Pre-K classes started it of with an adorable 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' rap! Too cute! Then, the next day was the "Happy Birthday Jesus" party in her classroom. They had cake and even sang 'Happy Birthday'. After that, Grandma came for her holiday visit! Chris' grandmother (Reagan and Addie's Great-Grandma) spent 2 weeks with us. It was so wonderful that we were able to spend the holidays together! Then of course, there was Christmas. Santa was VERY good to all of us. The girl's got a large wooden dollhouse for their Barbies, Zhu Zhu pets, Princess Tiana dolls, and Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. Not to mention all of the generous gifts from family and friends. We were all very spoiled. Thank you to all of you! New Years was pretty tame. We all went out to dinner and then Grandma, the girls, and I went home to watch the ball drop in NYC and we turned in well before midnight. Poor Chris had to work from 10pm-8am. But we celebrated a couple of days later by going out to the Hofbrauhaus and drinking plenty of good German beer (at Grandma's request!). It was a wonderful holiday season and Chris and I feel so blessed to have all of our amazing family and friends in our lives! Love you all!!
