Especially when you stay at a gorgeous house on the beach and it rains most of the week!! But we still had an AMAZING time at the house on Lido Key that Pap Pap and Paul rented for all of us during our visit to FL last week. Even though it was overcast, the girls still enjoyed playing in the sand and collecting seashells. Actually, it was kind of nice not to have to worry as much about the sunscreen!!
The week started off with Stephanie (Chris' cousin) and Kyle's wedding. Then the next day was the bridal shower I threw for Christine (I am Matron of Honor at her wedding in just a couple weeks). Jeff and Pauline were nice enough to allow me to throw the shower in the house, which was perfect!! Too bad I only took one photo.
Then, we spent the rest of the week lounging, and the guys played golf (3 times for Chris!), even though they were only able to eek out 9 holes each time due to fear of being struck by lightning!!
But, it was so great to spend time with everyone. And pretend like that house was ours for a week (after all, that is Chris and my dream, a house on the beach...one day!!)
